Q. Can I gift a ChristianDish to a friend?

Q. Can I add the ChristianDish system in my motel?
A. Yes, the ChristianDish system is very adaptable to use in a SMATV or headends that provide Free Christian TV channels to motels, cable TV or offices.

Q. If I should need replacement parts for the ChristianDish, do you offer them?
A. Yes, ChristianDish has replacement components for every part of the satellite system including FTA installation parts.

Q. Can I speak to a live person at ChristianDish?
A. Yes, we prefer the personal touch. However, email is acceptable and internet orders are welcomed as well.

Q. Is ChistianDish base in the USA?
A. Our office is located in Priest, River, Idaho. USA

Q. Is ChristianDish owned by Christians?
A. We are a self-supported Christian organization and we tithe 10% of every dollar earned to the Lord.

Q. I live over 20 miles away from a city, can I get ChristianDish?
A. In the case of living in the country, one must keep in mind that the satellites are located in the Western Geocyncronis orbit there for you must have a clear view of the Eastern sky if you live in the West. A clear view of the Southern sky if you live in thed central states and a clear view of the Western sky if you live in the East. Q. I have an old pole on the roof from an old satellite provider, could it be used for the Christiandish system?
A. If the pole is 1.66″ (1-5/8″) yes, if it is 2″ then a reducer adapter can be used. We have those available if you should need one.

Q. Can I use existing wires (RG-6) in my home?
A. Yes they can as long as there are no splitters in the line, it must be a home run from the satellite dish to the back of the receiver.

Q. Do I need to install a ground for the ChristianDish satellite system?
A. Absolutely, the grounding equipment is required under the national electrical code. Not only that, but it helps protect all your entertainment equipment in the home.

Q. If I move can I take the ChristianDish satellite system with me?
A. Yes, remember that the satellite dish the receiver and all the hardware belongs to you. From time to time I have spoken with families that gifted the ChristianDish system to the new homeowners as a way to witness.

Q. Will the ChristianDish work with my current cable TV or satellite service.

A. Yes! The ChristianDish will work with any other service because it is a stand-alone service, that means that including the wiring is completely separate from the other providers.

Q. Will the ChristianDish system work on my old TV?

A. In most cases, older TV’s have a video input-A/V ports (Yellow, White, and Red, RCA jacks) If this is the case Yes, the ChristianDish Satellite receiver will work just fine. If it doesn’t then you would require a channel modulator with channels 3 or 4 output to TV. We carry the modulators on our shopping cart.

Q. If I have the internet will the ChristianDish system work with internet and would I need satellite?

A. Yes, you can use your existing internet service to stream many of the most popular Christian channels without the need of satellite.

Q. Will the ChristianDish satellite system work if I don’t have the internet?

A. internet is not required to receive satellite signals, which makes our service perfect for remote areas that do not have internet

Q. Who much is ChristianDish TV monthly service?

A. There are No monthly fees, No contracts and No credit checks for the ChristianDish satellite channels or internet Christian channels. There is a one-time equipment fee of $240 plus shipping and installation of the satellite system.

Q. What is the installation fee for a Christiandish TV system?

A. If you want to hire a professional installer it will generally run you about $200 for a one-room system.

Q. Can the ChristianDish satellite system get the major networks?

A. Galaxy 19 the satellite that delivers the signal to our ChristianDish does not carry the national networks like ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox. Q. Why are the channels on ChristianDish FREE?

A. ChristianDish satellite and IPTV channels are free because the networks themselves pay for the satellite or IPTV streaming out of their own budgets. Their hope is to encourage you to help their ministry with donations that will help them spread the gospel of Jesus via their television broadcasting efforts.

Q. How do I fix my satellite system or IPTV if it fails?

A. Troubleshooting a satellite system is not that difficult for most people, but if free to air is new to you then we do provide online videos that can help you figure out the problem. However, if you had the system installed by a professional installer we suggest that you keep their number in your contacts list just in case you should ever need their help again.

Q. How long will the ChristianDish service stay free?

A. It really depends on the networks themselves, from time to time we will lose a channel because of lack of funding, but a new channel is very quick to take their place. Free-To-Air is just that FREE

Q. Are we dealing with high power equipment?

A. No, the entire system operates on low voltage and it actually consumes very little power as well.

Q. Can I use the ChristianDish system in my RV?

A. Yes, you can use the ChristianDish satellite or IPTV system in your RV, in fact, it can operate on 12VDC that can come from your 12-volt battery.

Q. Can I install one satellite dish in a building and service 4 apartments?

A. The Christian dish can utilize one satellite system and provide service to up to 8 or more rooms or apartments.

Q. How do you ship the ChristianDish satellite package?

A. We use FedEx to ship all of our systems and from time to time we will use USPS for the small items like LNBF or receivers.

Q. How long does it take to receive a shipment from ChristianDish?

A. FedEX provides us a guideline of 5 to 7 business days to go across the country, in general, we see 3-5 business days for a delivery of a complete ChristianDish system.

Q. Does the ChristianDish receiver come with a remote control?

A. Yes, we even include one free set of batteries for the remote unit at this time.

Q. While is my GEOSATpro remote control light keeps flashing red?

A. When the GEOSATpro HDRV 3500 remote control light flashes red all the time it generally means that one of the buttons have been pressed down to hard and it is stuck under the plastic housing. If you dislodge the button your remote control will stop flashing and it will work again.
